A Bit About Me

There's no place like home, which must be why fate keeps me away from my home among the hills. My hometown is Upper Tract, West Virginia, but I spend these days in Southern Minnesota. I am an author, newspaper writer, and producer, and an amateur in almost every other aspect. I have more than 200 awards from the West Virginia and Minnesota Press Associations which includes West Virginia's Advertisement of the Year in 2020. My novel IN THE COUNTRY DARK was voted as the Appalachian Book of the Year by the listeners of the Appodlachia podcast.
